Hi! I’m Zayn Roohi, a photojournalist and filmmaker currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia, and serving the southeastern United States. I have experience working in the Middle East on an international scale with NGOs, government officials and high ranking dignitaries, telling stories through film and photography, in addition to weddings and portraits.

I’ve previously worked for NASA and the University of Alaska, and was selected to participate in the XXXI Eddie Adams Workshop, the top photojournalism workshop in the United States.

My publication record includes the UK’s Sun, Times, and Daily Mail, as well as The Aurora Magazine and the Baháʼí World News Service. I was selected as a 2018 award winner in the College Photographer of the Year competition, and was nominated for a regional Emmy that same year for my work on a documentary about drug addiction and rehab.

Please feel free to reach out for any editorial, wedding, and portrait photography or filmmaking work.
